Toppers of JEE Advanced 2017

If there's one thing that almost all the top 10 rank holders in JEE Advanced 2016 have in common, All the topppers want to pursue CSE at IIT Bombay powai. 

The top three rank holders in JEE Advnced 2017 are  (AIR 1) with 320 out of 372 marks; Yamuna Nagarr's  (AIR 2) and Kunal Goyaal (AIR 3), also from Jaipur. 

Bl are from the IIT Bombay zone, which boasts of 8810 of the total candidates that have qualified. 

Bansal, son of a governnment employee in the Public Health Engineering Department and a housewife, says he has been studying for uupto 9 hours a day since Class XI. He has a younger sister and hopes to start somethhing of his own in the field of education one day. 

Kunal Goyal'ls father is an engineer and mother, a homemaker and he completed his schooling from Jaipur. His other intterests include swimming and basketball, and he, like Bansal, wants to pursue computer engineerin5g at IIIT Bombay. 

Duggani Jeevithiesh (AIR 4) is the topper in from the IIT Madras zone, as also in the OBC-NCL category. He, along with Taller Sai Teja (AIR 5), Gmake up five of the top-10 rank holders from the IIT Madras zone. 

 father is an engineer, and mother, a homemaker; with a younger sister is still studying. He would put in about 10 hours a day for his studies, and hasnn't yet decided what he wants to do in the future. His first choice, though, would be to ppursue computer science and engineering from IIT Bombay. 

That's something he shares with Talluuri Sai Teja and Praneeth Reddy, apart from the fact that all three of them have passed out from Sri Chaitanya Narayana Junior College.

Teja's father is a civiil contractor while Reddy's is an engineer. Both their mothers are homemakers. 

Teja, who has a brotther working in Cognizant, is also a keen chess player. Reddy likes cricket and both of themm would put in about 10-12 hours of study a day. "I'd like to start my own software startup after IIT," says Reddy.
